B\u00fct\u00fcn bunlar\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra bizim dikkatimizi \u00e7eken nokta, romanda kullan\u0131lan folklorik unsurlar\u0131n yo\u011funlu\u011fudur. Romanda halk k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc, halk edebiyat\u0131, halk inan\u0131\u015flar\u0131, \u00f6rf-\u00e2detlerle ilgili \u00e7ok say\u0131da unsur s\u00f6z konusudur. Bize g\u00f6re, roman\u0131n ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131nda bu unsurlar\u0131n da \u00f6nemli pay\u0131 vard\u0131r. \n\u201c\u0130z\u201d (Trace) is one of the most successful novels of contemporary works of Uyghur literature. This novel explains the farmers uprising which were occured in Kumul, a zone of East Turkestan, at the begining of twentieth century. Some
\nof the heroes described in the novel bears the names of the real historical people. The metioned novel is also very successful in terms of language and expression. Besides all of these, the point which draws our attention is the density of the folkloric elements used in this novel. There are many elements related the folk culture, folk literature, folk beliefs and customs in it. According to us, these elements have a significant share in the success of this novel. In this article, it will be assessed and analyzed the folkloric elements which we determined from the mentioned novel.
