K\u00f6k Tanr\u0131 inanc\u0131 her iki metinde de ortakt\u0131r. O\u011fuz Ka\u011fan olsun K\u00f6kt\u00fcrk ka\u011fanlar\u0131 olsun yetkilerini K\u00f6k Tanr\u0131dan ald\u0131klar\u0131na inanmaktad\u0131rlar. Yine her iki metinde G\u00f6k\u2019\u00fcn kutsiyeti ve \u00fcst\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00f6n plandad\u0131r. Her iki metinde g\u00f6k ve yer birbirini tamamlayan bir b\u00fct\u00fcn\u00fcn par\u00e7alar\u0131 olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir. Eski T\u00fcrklerde alpl\u0131k erkeklerin en temel \u00f6zelliklerinden birisidir. Bozk\u0131rda ayakta kalmak g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc olmaktan ge\u00e7mektedir. Her iki metinde de alpl\u0131k \u00f6n plandad\u0131r. Cihan h\u00e2kimiyeti d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesi bozk\u0131r devlet ba\u015fkanlar\u0131n\u0131n misyonlar\u0131ndan biriydi. Bu y\u00fczden her iki bozk\u0131r metninde cihan\u0131n mutlulu\u011fu tek bir ka\u011fan\u0131n h\u00e2kimiyetine ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Gerek O\u011fuz Ka\u011fan gerek K\u00f6kt\u00fcrk ka\u011fanlar\u0131n\u0131n ak\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n arkas\u0131nda bu sebep yatmaktad\u0131r. Her iki metinde Ka\u011fan halka kar\u015f\u0131 bir sorumluluk hissi ta\u015f\u0131maktad\u0131r. Bu sorumluluklar\u0131n temelinde halk\u0131n refah\u0131 ve mutlulu\u011funu sa\u011flamak gelmektedir. Yine Ka\u011fan\u0131n halka kar\u015f\u0131 sorumluluklar\u0131 oldu\u011fu gibi halk\u0131n da ka\u011fana kar\u015f\u0131 sorumluluklar\u0131 vard\u0131. Bunlar\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda halk\u0131n ka\u011fana itaatleri ve onu d\u00fc\u015fmanlara kar\u015f\u0131 yaln\u0131z b\u0131rakmamak ba\u015fta geliyordu. Bozk\u0131r k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcnde ad-unvan elde etme muhakkak bir kahramanl\u0131\u011fa dayan\u0131yordu. Her iki metinde de bu rit\u00fcelin izlerine rastlan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bozk\u0131r sava\u015f\u00e7\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n olmazsa olmaz\u0131 att\u0131r. At bozk\u0131r sava\u015f\u00e7\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n eli koludur. Kurt, bozk\u0131r T\u00fcrk halk\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemli k\u00fcltlerinden biridir. \u00d6zellikle O\u011fuz Ka\u011fan Destan\u0131nda O\u011fuz Ka\u011fan\u2019a yolunu \u015fa\u015f\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ona yol g\u00f6sterir. Orhon Yaz\u0131tlar\u0131nda da Ka\u011fan\u0131n ordusu g\u00fcc\u00fcnden dolay\u0131 kurt gibi tasvir edilmi\u015ftir. Eski T\u00fcrklerde toy (kurultay) g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki meclis gibiydi. \u00d6nemli kararlar burada al\u0131n\u0131rd\u0131. Her iki metinde ka\u011fanlar toylarda halk\u0131na hitap ederlerdi. Ahmet Bican Ercilasun\u2019a g\u00f6re, T\u00fcrk edebiyat\u0131n\u0131n ayn\u0131 zamanda ilk yaz\u0131l\u0131 nutuk metni olan Orhon Yaz\u0131tlar\u0131, bilindi\u011fi gibi, VII. yy.la; Uygur harfli O\u011fuz Ka\u011fan Destan\u0131 ise XIV. \u2013 XV. y\u00fczy\u0131lla tarihlendirilmektedir. \u0130ki bozk\u0131r metnini kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda benzer pek \u00e7ok nokta olmas\u0131 \u015fa\u015f\u0131rt\u0131c\u0131 de\u011fildir. Bu durum, Orhon Yaz\u0131tlar\u0131ndaki k\u00fclt\u00fcrel kodlar\u0131n, destan\u0131n yaz\u0131ya ge\u00e7irildi\u011fi ge\u00e7 d\u00f6nemde bile devam ettirildi\u011fini g\u00f6stermesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemlidir. Her iki metin de T\u00fcrk bozk\u0131r k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc yans\u0131tan temel metinlerdir. Bu metinlerin aras\u0131nda uzun zaman olmas\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131n, ortak pek \u00e7ok noktay\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131m\u0131\u015f olmalar\u0131, ayn\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn metinleri olduklar\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6stergesidir. Metinlerin bozk\u0131r (atl\u0131 g\u00f6\u00e7ebe) medeniyetinin temel bir\u00e7ok \u00f6gesini bulundurmalar\u0131, bu k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn sa\u011flaml\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve canl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 da g\u00f6stermektedir. T\u00fcrk bozk\u0131r k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc, sadece \u00d6t\u00fcken ile s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 kalmam\u0131\u015f, ilk \u0130slami devletlerde de varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 korumu\u015ftur. \u0130lk \u0130slami devletler din ve b\u00f6lge farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131na ra\u011fmen, Ta\u015fa\u011f\u0131l\u2019\u0131n deyimiyle model devlet K\u00f6kt\u00fcrk devletinin k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc ya\u015fatmaya devam ediyorlard\u0131.
